In her own words
Samprati Hum (The present moment is my True Self)
It is in the spirit of devotion that I approach Yoga. For me, Yoga is an opportunity to create a sacred space and come home to myself, shed old beliefs, renew my body and sense of self. This is what I want to facilitate for you; the opportunity for self-discovery.
There are innumerable ways to connect to the divine and the collective consciousness- in my Sadhana (personal practice) I favor chanting as a conduit to the divine and experience oneness. To connect my energetic body to my physical body I love ecstatic dance (a form of healing in its own right!)
After my initial training with Courtney Morgan and Julie Baron at Revolver Yoga in Walla Walla, WA, I began studying yoga philosophy and history, Sanskrit, subtle body and chakra systems, yin and restorative yoga, chanting, and meditation.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I just returned from living in the Last Frontier. While living in Anchorage I rekindled my Adhikara (studentship) at Anchorage Yoga, where I graduated from Katey Inman and Star Amourex's 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training program.
I am a mother, lover of nature, friend to all living beings, explorer of planet Earth and the infinite, student, intuitive healer, and empath. I am happy to be here, to meet you and be on this journey with you.
Namaste
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
